‘Gitting Gud’ With the Chloranthy

If you’re not a gamer you probably haven’t been immersing yourself in the newest, and most popular, game on the market. I’m referring to Elden Ring, a spectacularly gorgeous world filled with unforgiving ambiguity and an equal amount of abysmally morose emotion. Many of these atmospheric themes can be found in the predecessors of the games developers From Software, known for Bloodbourne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and the notorious Dark Souls series. It’s in these ever-glooming themes that two nerds- I mean dudes found the inspiration for their newest Black Metal project Chloranthy. To find out more I got to sit down with these familiarly handsome faces and talk through everything involved with the creation process from the writing on the board to the streaming services they, at this point, will be roaming.
You may recall an interview we did with Mouth of Sauron, aka the brutal, Lord of the Rings inspired workings of Zach Mitchell and Elijah Cirricione. Well we’re very happy these boys are back in the ITPA spotlight.
